Anyone have a maintenance schedule for Prius V 2017?

The maintenance schedule starts about 1/2 way through...

 

There's a lot more to those services than mentioned in the manual.
These are intervals if you want to keep it in tip top shape so to get the best possible range.
- Fuel and Air induction (injectors, valve and Throttle Body) service at 45k but every 20k if you want to keep it really clean.
- HV battery filter cleaning ever 20k or 30k But you can stay on top of it buy simply vacuuming the inlet duct located under the rear passenger seat
- Transmission fluid around 50k
- HV Inverter coolant exchange 50k to 60k, 80k if you want to push it.
- I.C.E. coolant 60k to 80k
Following is Not in the manual, but good practice.
- Have your engine bay steam cleaned twice a year if you have the means. Dirt is a great insulator of heat and heat is bad for the inductor and other HV components.
- Check for rodent droppings or damage if you live near a wooded area or where there could be signs of rodents. (Our wire harness casings are made of a soy base which they love, plus the HV portion of the bay stays warm for hours which makes for a cozy place for them to bed for the night)
- Keep up on your alignments because your Prius is met with resistance if you car is out of alignment which can rob you of range. (plus it's bad for your tires)
- Keep up on your tire pressure at least once a week.

 

PDF versions of the Owner's Manual and Warranty and Maintenance Booklets (the latter has the maintenance schedule, albeit in event-by-event format) are available from ToyotaTechInfo website. Google the name; the first hit is likely the correct one. Look for the word "manuals" on the page.

I find the US event-by-event schedule (and the Canadian schedules, which can be even more obscure...) kinda confounding, prefer a schedule in graph format, with mile/months columns, and maintenance rows. I haven't made one specifically for the Prius v, but I think it would be very similar to the 3rd gen US Prius schedule.

I've attached my translation of the US Prius schedule, in spreadsheet, pdf and jpg format. Also attached is one extrapolated to 240 miles, in spreadsheet and pdf.

That's not to say everything you need is in there. There are some glaring omissions. Also, some of the items (the drivers floor mat check for example) are a bit over-the-top...

Anyway, a few omissions, up for discussion:

1. Transaxle fluid change: Toyota says nothing about changing the fluid, but I'd recommend and early change, say 1 year mark, then very infrequently thereon, say every 60K miles.

2. Brake fluid change: again, Toyota USA says nothing. Toyota Canada says tri-yearly or 30K miles.

3. Full brake inspection: Toyota USA hints at a more in-depth brake inspection, but doesn't really spell it out. Compare most of the service intervals to the 30K interval. Usually they say "visual" inspection, but at 30K it mentions to check the rotor against specs for thickness and runout. But that's all they say. I would contact a dealership service department, see if you can talk to the service manager, ask what they recommend. Typical would be to pull off the calipers, clean everything up and relube, maybe relube the caliper slide pins as well.
