Has anybody fully debadged a Prime? I took off the rear badges (except for the Toyota emblem) and am considering removing the front fender emblems that say "Plug in Hybrid". I know on the Gen 2 that the badges in this location cover a hole in the fender. Does anybody know if there is a fender hole under the Prime badges in this location? There does not appear to be one in this explodo diagram, but these aren't always accurate.
Cut through fender emblems with dental floss, this will take 1 to 2 minutes per emblem & several feet of floss because of floss breakage. I've tried multiple orange/citrus cleaners, Zep heavy duty from Home Depot seems to work the best. Next get yourself 2 small clean cotton rags (old socks) & soak one with Zep. Basically you go back n forth between the wet Zep rag & the dry cotton rag, each side might take as long as 30 minutes of elbow grease to finish. Rob43
Because I like the look of the car without the badges. I know how to remove the badges. What I don’t know is if the fender badges cover any holes. I would prefer the badge to an exposed hole in the fender.
If you're using the PriusChat search, I find a lot of times, the first search shows nothing (even if the search string is a letter-perfect version of the thread title), but repeating the search, it finds stuff, not necessarily in optimum order. In short, it's pretty useless, lol. Often better results can be had using Google search, with search string prefaced with "PriusChat".
my recommendation...just to make it exciting Chain-Mate 36 in. Manual Chain Saw-CM-36 - The Home Depot
