Thin blade (…it doesn't need to be sharp! …it doesn't even need to be made of metal) …take care not to damage the locating tabs! - Good luck! Here's what I replaced mine with:
@ski.dive What is the failure mode you are experiencing when you attempt to pry off the lens? It is generally better to pry at the bottom center of the lens. Perhaps a previous owner broke the lens in an attempt to remove it, and glued it in place? Unless you are the original owner. If it's glued in place, you will have to remove the entire door panel to replace the bulb. Do you see any evidence of glue?
I tried to remove it,but it was not coming off easy, I then stopped & asked questions on removal. *No glue on the plastic lens cover 'original owner'
