The Toyota website indicates the 2020 Corolla Hybrid DOES have the TSS 2.0 system

Hope you can count to big numbers. That'll be decades. Maybe where you live - but most of the world isn't ready, nor interested.

I think GasperG was refering to the Prius not having the TSS 2.0

At least in Europe you get the full Safety Sense 2.0 package.

They still have that black cow-catcher grille.
Perhaps the Toyota and Lexus designers heard something about cow-catchers being popular in the ‘20s. What was meant was the 1920s. The designers assumed 2020s and thought they would get a head start with their designs.
Those who do not study history are doomed to copy it poorly?? :(

Similar to the article author my second car but first Toyota was a used 1969 Corolla. In Canada it had a 2 speed automatic transmission. It also had slow acceleration.

I killed it though. It ended up as the filling in a 60mph “freeway sandwich “ on Highway 401.
When a police officer passes your driveshaft through the back window, the car is in rough shape. The driver’s seat ended up angled 30 degrees toward the rear.

My 2nd car was a COROLLA - a used KE10B 1969 - but with a 4 speed Manual - much better acceleration than the auto. Good little car, 1077cc engine, less than 750kg I think.

Mine had a more sloped rear window. The gas filler door was located beside the rear driver side window.
I remember the corners of the front bumper would move up and down from the engine vibration. The car did allow me to survive the crash between 2 larger cars.

Yep - a mate drove one of them (it was his Mum's), and it was the 2 sp auto - and gutless compared with mine.

Please note the date of release. Probably the 4Gen (2016) was measured under different norms.
Real world data is much closer.
