Hey guys, I'm new here and read quite a bit about the known gen 3 issues and am sort of spooked about the EGR stuff. I recently bought a 2010 with 160k and want to service the EGR/IM as soon as possible. Can anyone point me to either a shop in Denver, or a mechanic, or even a forum member that would be up to doing the EGR service? I actually bought a new EGR cooler so it would be a straight swap without waiting/cleaning it. I am aware of Mile Hybrid & Boulder Hybrids. Thanks a lot for any and all pointers! Cheers
Since you are aware of @3prongpaul ’s shop, have you interacted with him to see if he’s up for doing the maintenance? I’d start there and see where it takes you. Any shop could really do the job as it’s on the ICE side of the Hybrid equation . Good luck and keep us posted .
