Hey I'm guessing there is a broken motor or door somewhere in the dash. Anything I should try to get this working again? I've tried all different modes on the control panel and the top vents on the passenger side don't flow at all. Car is inside the garage 99% of the time so hopefully no critters making a house in there.
If you are driving solo it is because there is a setting by default to only blow air on the driver. There is a button on the dash that toggles between blowing air on all the passengers or not. Just press that button and it should blow through all vents. If you have a passenger in the car with you, then sorry I can’t help.
A little over a week, got the car CPO last year. Not sure, I would check but the car decided to fix itself on the way home from the store today.
Mine constantly reverts to the driver only mode. I have to push the button down on the AC pannel to get it to normal. Also sometimes your system will go to outside air and another vent mode when it feels the need. Very irritating but it is supposed to be smarter than us.
I am having the same problem with my Prius E 2016 model. So far I have not been able to resolve the issue. Any pointers will be helpful.
No difference in AUTO or MANUAL MODE. Tried changing the driver priority settings etc. No change. Limited air blow on the right hand side vents. Normal airflow on the left hand side vents (center vent plus the one near the window). Looks as if one of the doors to right hand side vents is stuck so something similar and access to the evaporator box is extremely difficult. The whole dashboard is to be dismantled.
Ok I noticed the A/C air blowing on driver side only. Then on next local trip my wife sat in the right passenger seat then the air started blowing equally both left and right vents. Hmmmm thats logical and fair is fair. Happy wife happy life.
In my case, this S-flow mode is not working as mentioned in the manual. There is very little air in the vents on the right side (driver side in my case as I have a JDM right hand driver car). No error messages. All buttons on the ac panel give proper lights and corresponding displays on the dash screen.
