Are there any write ups about converting the factory Halogen headlights to factory HID headlights? I have the opportunity to acquire factory HIDs, but unsure if it's plug-and-play or mods needed. Anyone that can shine some light on this - I'd appreciate it! I've searched online google/Priuschat however, I'm not a fan of an aftermarket solution because I don't want to blind anyone, I think the factory HIDs are engineered to proper spec, and living in California I think I've read some replacements aren't street legal. Would like to use the factory option if it's possible/easy enough.
