    Hello,
Per the title of this thread my full charge decreased by a 1/3 overnight it seems. Is that normal?

My Prius prime is new (2019) with less than 2000 miles on it. This is the first time I've charged it up in about a month.

Any help/input would be appreciated :)
    Thanks

    welcome!
did you leave it on by accident?

by 1/3, can you tell us how many miles you lost overnight, or from what percent, down to what percent?

if correct, no, it would not be normal.

try it again and see what happens

Can you provide more context? Was it fully charged before you went to bed? Did you verify it was fully charged?

Car will shut off if you leave it on and then plug it in.

According to the manual, the car will power down after an hour if it is in Park

    Hello all,
Thanks for the replies :) I left it fully charged last night and woke up to a full charge this morning.

Re the night prior I think I may have driven more than previously thought or perhaps I left it on. All seems well now tho.

That sounds great, I'm glad you figured it out, I was betting on you saying something just like this.

I know that it's 20 minutes in ACC or for one hour in ON mode. I don't believe it's true for READY mode, or there would have been a hue and cry from people wanting to camp like they did in the older models.

What's the difference between on and ready mode?

ON just runs the windows and the HVAC (just can) - think of it like an expanded Accessory mode. READY is when the car is able to drive off.

There is ACC, ON, and READY. Same as the key positions in a traditional car. My short-hand way of remembering is that one press of the power button without the brake pedal enables some stuff. The second press enables more stuff. The third press turns it all off. All I've ever used it for is just the one press if I want to open the windows after I shut it off and my wife has already opened her door. It's press, open windows, press, press. Done. Never for anything else.

I think the manual mentions that after 20 hours in ready mode, weird things start to happen (but it doesn't shut off).
