This is my second thread on this website! I bought a 2015 Prius II back in November, and I put LEDs in it a few days later... it's late, but here is the video showcasing my lights. I will answer any questions you all may have!

There is an installation guide in the video description. Once my posts get approved, I'll have enough posts to be able to post links, so the guide can be on this thread!

    Parts list and installation guide:
Most of these will work right out of the box!
    High beams (9005)

Low beams (H11) - these will have a perfect fit in the socket, so it might take some work to get them installed. The beam pattern is evenly distributed and there is a clean cut-off.

    Fog lights (if equipped) (H16)

License plate lights, parking lights, map lights, and courtesy lights (2825) - This comes in a pack of 10, so you will have two extra ones.

Front and rear turn signals (7440A) - you will need to get two, since these come in pairs. You will need a new turn signal relay or some resistors (I used resistors). I have the instructions at the bottom of this description.

    Resistors

    Reverse lights (7440W)

Dome light (DE3175) - these come in a pack of four, so you will have three extra ones. You may need to bend the connector with your finger so the light can fit into the socket.

TURN SIGNAL INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS: LED turn signals are the most complicated lights to install when performing an LED conversion on any car. You will need resistors for your turn signals. Without them, your turn signals will hyper flash (blink too quickly), and the fuse might blow. The reason for this is because the load is too low (LEDs use less power than halogen bulbs) and the car will think the bulb is about to go out and do that as an indicator. First, replace the halogen bulbs with the LED equivalent. You will need to strip the two wires and connect aresistor to both wires (a resistor has an end for each wire). I would recommend soldering the wires together so they can stay connected. Also, taking some panels off in the hatch might be necessary if you want more room. The resistor can just hang from the wires if you want. I haven't had an issue with doing that. You will need to take the front bumper off to install the front turn signals... unfortunately. You'll have more room, though.

Awesome post. The link for the high beams says that they aren't available. Also, what taillight bulbs did you use?

Thanks! I checked and the high beams are available as of this post. For the tail lights, the Prius has had LED brake lights since 2004, and I believe they are designed to be non-serviceable.

I just got the high and low beams (I have a new job with a long commute with a big part of it on back roads, and it will be done in the dark) and I noticed that you said that getting the lows installed took some work. What were the problems, and how did you solve them?

This is a super late reply, but it takes some work to get the headlight to go into the socket because it is a perfect fit.

I couldn't find a relay with the same functionality (timing) as OEM, so I decided that soldering would be better.
It works well for me. It feels like I can see everything on the road and I feel safe. I've been in a car where the LED headlights did not work at all (it looked like they were off; same brand lights, but different projector on the assembly of the vehicle) and I felt unsafe.

It looks like the ones you linked were designed differently, but I'm not sure. I took a screenshot of some old dash cam footage so you can see it below. I will post another picture when it stops raining to show you the lights from the driver's perspective.

Also, you have a 2010 Prius, right? That's what I saw in your post history. Are your headlight assemblies clear? That would cause an issue with a clear beam pattern. Your lights could be pointing downward, too. Let me know! :)

So the only lights that were not plug and play was the Turn Signal Lights?

They’re also plug and play however you have the option of just swapping out the flasher relay for another one OR soldering and using resistors. I just swapped out the relay and called it a day.

But you forgot to mention that swapping the relay is really hard. Don't attempt if you have hand arthritis

So this is a Prius with the two fake projectors on each side of the car and they take regular bulbs not a special LED package with ballasts and all that mess??? Is this correct so in the car pictured in the video here there are two fisheye lensed projector looking lamps One is high one is low to the corresponding bulb numbers you said so what you removed were what Toyota LED bulbs or Toyota halogen bulbs? Just curious everybody's been saying that this is a special package of lights the two projector uses special LEDs and ballast and wiring and all this I didn't think so Is this an American car? American market car US market car what have you?. Thank you I'm interested in the lighthousings I use a specific brand of bulb similar to what you're using.

When you put LEDs throughout the system your turn signals are going to flash fast like maybe in Europe so here in the States they put ballast resistors in line and that slows the turn signals back down to what they were when you got the car I don't use my turn signals that much I just let them flash fast by the time I've turned in front of you I'm a block up the street generally speaking so I'm not a big put on the turn signal type person. And the headlights in the Gen 3 housings they pretty much fit right in if there's any hubbub just wipe the plastic part of the fins or tabs that line up with the housing with a little bit of the bulb grease or silicone grease that'll make them twist right and don't get it on the glass just on the little plastic pins or tabs and I'll put it in the housing. Done All of my Gen 3s are done very similar to this with the ox beam or beam tech S1 series bulbs at the time they were the latest Cobb elements this company had on the market they seem to be very bright
