I bought a 2016 Prius 2, and it does not have navigation. i was told at the dealership there is a navigation ap that will run on your Iphone, that you plug in, and it will come up on the screen. Would anyone know anything about that?
And yet it’s their job to know. He’s talking about ScoutGPS and that’s only available the 2019 Prius. 2016-2018 models only have built in nav and that was standard on higher trim levels.
He might have been talking about this Entune if you have it. You could then use Google Maps or whatever app you wanted to on your screen for navigation
Does ENTUNE do that? My salesman suggested - don't bother with ENTUNE, it's not much good. So I haven't tried it.
I just went and had a look - it's "TOYOTA LINK" he was talking about - in 3¼ yrs I forgot - but I never used it. No mention of ENTUNE in the manual.
I suggest just navigating with Google Maps or Waze (owned by Google) using any smartphone. Google is always accurate and up to date.
