Hello, I was wondering what font the car uses in the gauge cluster and screen... For some reason I like it alot? Anyways thank you and sorry if this is a dumb question.
Update: The font "monda" on google docs looks quite similar. But I dont know if it is for sure. Please comment if you have more info about the font
You can take a picture and upload it to WhatTheFont! « MyFonts I used to use it when I was doing graphic design. It should give you an idea of the font. Hope that helps.
Cool tip! Thanks. If any of you find out the answer, I too would be curious (I don’t have a photo handy).
In the software for the navigation receiver assembly with 7-inch display, the fonts are delivered in OpenType format and identified internally as “Tfont1212c,” in ten combinations of weight and width. The files include a Toyota Motor Corporation copyright notice dated 2012, with no mention of a type foundry or outside supplier. I imagine it’s a typeface developed or customized for Toyota, but I’m not sure it’s an original. In my experience, neither WhatTheFont!, kindly mentioned by @Jamesb93612 above, nor Identifont has been completely reliable, even for typefaces that have been in specimen books for years. It’s definitely not Monda; compare Q, J, 1, and 4, for example.
Can you upload photo of the screen? I am just curious as to which font you are talking about and what it looks like. Is this on the MID on dash or on 7 inch display?
