2015 Prius V with 72,000 miles. A warning light came on today. Looks like a wrench with an exclamation point over it.
Manual says it is the Go to service warning light. Indicates that maintenance of hybrid battery (traction batter) cooling component is required.
The filter may be clogged, the air intake vent may be blocked or there may be clogged, the air intake vent may be blocked or there may be a gap in the duct.
Can I drive the car to the dealership or should I have it towed?
It’s 30 miles and takes an hour to get there.
I’m not very handy, so I don’t feel comfortable trying to service the fan myself.
    Thanks.

The fan is not hard to get to, just a little work.

The warning light wasn’t lit, and no codes were stored when the car arrived at the Toyota dealer.
I asked the service writer to have the fan cleaned.
When I picked up the car ($100 later), the fan hadn’t been cleaned.
I spoke to the tech that did the work and he explained that he lifted up the back seat and vacuumed the hybrid cooling system air filter. The service writer never told him that I wanted the fan cleaned.
I doubt that they work on many hybrids.
So, if the light comes on again, I will try and clean the fan myself.
Thank you for all the help.
If anyone has a recommendation of a good hybrid mechanic in Knoxville TN area, please let me know.

    Obviously not the Toyota Dealership.

I hope you got your money back since they didn't perform the requested service.
