I picked up this pristine 2010 Prius off of craigslist over the weekend for $600. My main interest is the wheels, winter snow tires, tpms sensors and tpms computer. With 312,000 miles most of the parts are well used but It runs and I was able to drive it up the flat bed tow trucks incline. I wasn't given a definitive reason for this Prius retirement but the cracked windshield, evap OBD codes, abs sensor , and seized RR caliper would have made a NYS inspection very difficult. Plugging the vin into my Toyota shows the only dealer part installed was the brake booster/abs assembly @ 114,000 miles. If someone is in need of any parts please contact me via Prius chat or call/ text me at 716-864-2348. I can take additional pics or videos if needed I've had good luck shipping bulkier parts with Greyhound buses shipping service. View attachment 176004 View attachment 176005
I’m sorry, i meant for the title/ description to be sarcastic. If a moderator can remove the “showroom condition “ from the title and it it’s place put the politically correct “ cosmetically challenged” I would greatly appreciate it. I should also note that it is not tropical in Buffalo NY , a more appropriate description would be "cold frozen tundra"
Definitely looks rode hard and put away wet. The rear bumper is in particularly great condition . You mean that large water feature just to your north doesn’t allow for palm trees to grow? The Maid of the Mist ride in December was definitely shorts and T-shirt weather .
At $600, that's a steal! I partially supported myself through school, buying MG's cheap and parting them out. Not steady cash, but great markup in a niche market. So what's the status of the radio? Model? Condition?
The 2010 came with a base single cd radio , The radio is working , I will try a cd in it tomorrow and grab a picture. I also have a spare Bluetooth touch screen radio that I picked up when I upgraded my 2011 Prius to Bluetooth / rear view camera.
I sold a few parts , kept the wheels, tires , TPMS computer and was offered $900 locally ($300 more than I paid) for the rest of the car so I let it go. I pretty much guaranteed the sale when I removed the traction battery and carried it down my basement stairs ….. of course I then had to include the traction battery in the sale which required me carrying it up the stairs again. (no need to go to the gym today)
