85mpg!

    Engine and battery at operating temperature before run. Three five minute segments; 50mph, 35mph, 25mph. 40psi f/r tire pressure. Warm day. 20190725_192807.jpg

    My 1987 gmc van gets close to that rolling downhill coming out of the rockies.

    2003 Prius with gen 2 modules. Although there was no net elevation change, all other conditions were ideal. The car was also fully warmed up before the seven mile trip.

    Yeah but it’s only 7 miles. If you can keep it at that after about 70 miles then that would be amazing. Otherwise it’ll continuously drop and you’ll get in the low 50 mpg I’m guessing but good luck none the less

    To be fair though, my best trip in the '08 Prius is 68.1 MPG with cruise control at 45 MPH.

    What was your hybrid battery charge level before and after?
