I'm shopping around for floor mats. I'm having an issued deciding between weathertech or going with these all weather mats. I've attached pictures of both that I'm trying to decide on. I can't seem to find pictures of anyone with the weather tech mats in their V to try to compare.
There’s also Husky Liners, which is what I have, although they seemed to make an unwanted change in the design that allows fluids through the affixing points.
I put WeatherTech in my V. The good. The front mats are contoured exactly to the shape of the front foot area and turned up about an inch on the edges to trap liquids. They have the holes in the same place as the Prius mats for the driver floor mat latches. The rear is a one piece that extends across the back floor. I didn't get the cargo mat. The bad. They are pricey but I have them in our 08 Odyssey and after 10 years, they are still in great shape.
Can you post a picture of how they look in the V? I'm eager to see how they look before I decide to pull the trigger and buy them.
I too had Weathertech mats in front, back and cargo on the v I just sold. Mine were grey and after 7 years were still looking OK. I took them out, hosed them off and sometimes brushed them off with car wash detergent when I spilled milk or had a wine bottle brake on the cargo mat. The only thing I didn't like was the cargo mats didn't cover the back of the rear seats so I just used a rug from the '60s I had kept around when I wanted to carry big stuff like a Xmas tree. But golf bags and muddy shes were great. I have grandkids who ride horses. Need I say more.
The contrast is not very good with a black mat on black carpet. This is the best of several shots that I took.
I have had Weathertech fitted mats in about 5 cars. They hold up unbelievably well and fit very well. Nice deep sides, pop out for cleaning, well made. My Prime came with Toyota all-weather mats, which are OK but not up to the Weathertech quality. I'll see how they wear, and if they crap out then I'll put in the Weathertechs.
Care to share a photo of what the Toyota weather mats look like? Are they similar to the Prius ones I posted at the top of the thread?
For some cars, WeatherTech doesn't have mats available for a good while after the model appears on the streets. I just contacted them because I had had them for my Prius v and wanted them for my Rav4h. They came back with front and cargo mats available but rear floor mats not for months. My Toyota branded ones have less of a lip than I'd like but they will do in most cases.
