I apologize if everyone's seen this already, but I just saw this video from cnet.com: http://reviews.cnet.com/2006_Geneva_Auto_S..._7-6459267.html It appears that the nav screen has been improved for the 2007 model, in addition to the other little improvements that have been mentioned. The reviewer seems really impressed with the screen! (This is my first post, and I do not own a Prius but am planning on getting one ASAP). -Nat
No responses?! What the heck? I thought everyone would be enthused by the resolution increase and the addition of the 1/8" cable input in the armrest. I guess I was the only one who was excited to watch that video? Or maybe it's been posted elsewhere? I couldn't find it. Oh well.
Hi Nat, First off, welcome to PriusChat! I believe those features are already there for the 2006 model (hi res MFD, and aux audio input jack). The auto park feature is available for the 2004 Japanese model and 2006 European models (I think?).
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(ScottY @ Sep 6 2006, 05:00 PM) </div> My 2006 has the Aux input and hi-res MFD (at least as compared to the 2005 model). I think the Aux input was a JBL system feature, though. It may be standard on all lines in 2007. I didn't get the feeling that the reporter knew more than what he read (really quickly) at the show. Can you imagine the forum traffic for an override to enable that parallel parking tool?
Hmmm. So what about the traffic information option? I haven't heard anyone talk about that, so I assume it's either a)not offered on the 2006 or b)not offered on US models (even though the guy in the video said it was).
