Anyone know what a fault code c1241 low or high power supply on AbsVscTrc model is Also some times when presing the brakes they seam weak nearly ran in to the back of someone today Also sometimes it seams as if the 12v battery is low
Some times in the morning the dome and map lights are dim when doors are opened and once in ready mode they are normal brightness a bulbs are all leds
Strictly speaking, the code doesn't mean the 12 volt battery is low, it means the voltage reaching the brake controls is low. It can commonly be a wiring or connector problem; in fact, the typical likelihoods are such that Toyota doesn't even mention the 12 volt battery in the list of likely causes for the code. On the other hand, if you are also experiencing symptoms like dim lights all around the car, then that added information moves the battery way up into the running for being the culprit in your case.
I will get a replacement battery then when u say wiring or conector is there anything in particlar i should look for
If the battery solves the problem, there's nothing else to look for. If the problem remains, the next things to check are covered in the Repair Manual section for C1241 and the wiring diagram (more info).
