For Sale 2006 black Prius base model parts

I bought myself a black 2006 Prius parts car, I needed the brake actuator and the seller didn't want to remove it and sold me the car. The car did have a HV battery from 2015, that may be the only thing of real value.

Car is not in good condition, a salvage title. Has 240k miles and the catalytic converter has been stolen. Body parts are pretty beat up except for 3 of the 4 doors (rear passenger side is no good). All air bags are intact. Interior is completely trashed, can't really use it.

So if anybody is in need of parts, I will let you buy it really cheap. My labor cost is really high, so it's best you remove it yourself......

This is truly a Fire Sale. Where you can buy a working engine and transaxle for $200 type of sale. Of course, you would probably have to take possession of the car if you want those big items.

 

Combo meter didn't turn on when I first tried it, but it turned on after a second try. But the 12v battery was dead, so that may be a factor. The dash vents are trashed, like if someone tried to remove it and replace said combo meter......

 

Word of caution, everything on this car was a hack job (salvage title rebuild). The only non hack job was the newish OEM Toyota HV battery, that was a surprise to see.

 

The guy was a traveling sales guy, needed reliability is my guess. If I didn't know any better, I would've thought he lived in it. There was an entire trashcan full of trash I had to throw out

 

The rear spoiler does not look great, but luck would have it, I have another black spoiler in my garage. The one in my garage is in decent shape on top (the top that faces the sun), but there are a few marks on the spoiler's edge.

 

So upon further inspection of this vehicle, I found that I was duped. I found the alleged stolen catalytic converter bolts inside the car.....and I was like HOLY &%&@#$. Stolen catalytic converter shouldn't have bolts inside the car.

Then I checked the dipstick and think I noticed water in the oil. Open the radiator and fluid is clear water.........

So this car probably had a head gasket problem and was parked. Someone sold the catalytic converter (not stolen) and then sold the car to me saying missing catalytic converter was the issue.

The good thing is I didn't need the engine, but I still feel duped

 

I'm not sure they are any good. Let me check them tomorrow. It's been 95° here and I have not gone through that car yet.

 

Good news, tail lights work as they should. Bad news I don't have a box suitable to ship these without breaking them
