05 Prius experiencing red triangle & vehicle w/up arrow, eng, brake light & various other symptoms

    Rad cooling fan on all the time, trac batt fan on all the time, eng seems to rev up a bit high for speeds up to 35mph(haven't gone any faster & only short drives)

    Things I've checked
    12v batt 12.1v ign on eng off/14.2 eng on
    (Charged 12v batt)
    Inverter fluid flow on reservoir & pump sound, both good
    Fault codes c1259, c1310, p0a80(twice), p3012(twice)

    Getting ready to pull the trac batt & check all cells tomorrow

    Any advice or guidance much appreciated & thanks in advance

    HV Battery needs to be replaced, period. What more do you need to see and hear to convince you otherwise?

    You just need to decide what your short/long term plans are w/ the car, and how much you are willing to spend or not spend.
    Do I need a reliable vehicle for my personal lifestyle and employment?
    Is there anything else I would rather do w/ my time than working on the HV Battery (repeatedly if I do module swaps)?
    How much longer do I want to keep the car?

    Swapping out modules is a band-aid repair. Can last hours/days/weeks/months.
    Used (rebuilt/reconditioned/remanufactured) from GreenCrappyBean ($1549) and other's are a poor choice.
    Rebuilders are a dime a dozen. Quality of their work is all over the place: few good rebuilders, many hacks.
    Best long term, trouble free, repair is to replace w/ NEW OEM HV Battery ($1600+) or 2k1Toaster's cylindrical modules ($1600).​

    Bandaid for now, the beauty is staying with us till the wheels fall off(it'll take a lot for me to let it go)
    2k1 toaster's cylindrical modules sound fancy & interesting, I'll look into it

    3 yr unlimited miles.

    I have one od these Dorman remans and have replaced it under warranty once in 12 months. Installed myself without too much fuss and it's running well for a couple of months now.
