I'm interested in acquiring some type of steering wheel mounted tray that I can use with my laptop. There are a few models from various manufacturers like the one pictured in the photo, but the reviews are generally mixed. Most poor reviews mostly claim that the tray doesn't fit the buyer's particular steering wheel well. I have a 2010 Prius with a navigation console (I'm not sure if the steering wheel is different on models without the navigation console). Has anyone used a tray like this with their 3rd Gen Prius? If so, I'd love to know where you purchased it and the brand/model. Thanks!
Not that I can recall, will be interested to see. In a case where the mfg doesn’t specify the exact model car, I would want to email with them first, or free return shipping
I'll bet it wouldn't be hard to make one out of plywood. That looks like a clever invention for anyone who needs to use their laptop while waiting in a parking lot or something.
Cool! Looks like it's made for eating at a rest stop or something when the weather is too nasty for a picnic.
I just got back from a trip and used a couple of times with my laptop. Once I laid the seat back a little it actually worked pretty good. Used the wireless mouse on the console. There is no sticker or instructions that say anything about not using it when driving but I would not do it. Overall, I will make sure it goes with me on the rest of my trips.
Just checked my history and I got it off Ebay last July for 12.68 delivered. Listing has ended for the item but I am sure there are plenty of options out there.
This looks good I will try to find this. Would be nice to have one that is flat across or fits a specific laptop.
I use mine daily, its just it wasn't strong enough to hold a laptop and my hands. I had to make plastic support on the unit so its strong enough to hold a gaming laptop.
