I broke off the spoiler from the rear hatch on my 2010 Prius III (don't ask). It appears the only things broken are the little light blue plastic posts on the ends. I was able to remove the light and unplug it so I could put the spoiler inside the car and drive it.

If I buy new posts will the spoiler snap back into place if I smack it in just the right places?

There is a part number you can buy for the Gen2 spoilers, I would think the part is the same for Gen3. Member Tampaprius.com answered a thread about this subject with the correct part number to buy from Toyota.

Did you ever get this figured out? I broke off my spoiler today :( All I can find is information on how to properly remove it, not to put it back on. The problem is all the bolts are attached to the car, not the spoiler, so I don't see how removing them and putting them back would secure the spoiler. It's attached only by the brake light cable (and some packing tape) right now.

Old thread, but I’m trying to learn if the GEN three spoiler will fit on GEN two also. No one knows?
