    Sounds like hybrid battery problems.
At 120,000 miles the car has a lot of life left.
~$2600-$3,600 will get a New pack installed by a mechanic or dealership.
For a bit less you could buy the New pack from the dealer and install it yourself.
There is a wide range of Used batteries out there. You'll get what you pay for.
For $1600 you can buy non-Toyota New battery parts that you can assemble into a working pack.
There are even more options that if you want to buy diagnostic tools, chargers, and more and do a bunch of assembly and disassembly yourself on a regular basis.
Or sell it and move on.
    Decisions, decisions.

Dr Prius may get you started.
Can read and clear error codes.
    Can see battery data.
