Looking to buy Prolong Automotive 2nd hand charger

I'm also looking at a prolong charger and discharger for my 2nd gen Prius. I saw a used kit on ebay that I'm thinking of buying. My car has 175k and is getting about 46mpg. The battery seems to run down faster than it use to...is it worth doing the reconditioning or should I just replace the battery?

Where in the great state of California are you located?

If up in the Bay Area, there is a group that shares the equipment, so that might be an option that reduces the total cost of ownership.

The equipment can also be used to rebuild batteries, which we’ve done 3 times now with this equipment .

But it’s worth the purchase if the diy type .

 

Thanks Ray. I'm down in SoCal...I'll take a look around otherwise the deal on Ebay looks pretty good. Looks like it pays for itself especially at a discount from retail.
