Some speakers (normal plus tweeter in one package, for example) have capacitors in them to filter the audio to appropriate frequencies to match them to the relevant frequency responses for each speaker.
It seems odd that it doesn't have the JBL - I thought - maybe @The Professor can confirm - that all PRIUS had JBL sound systems?
I can't speak for anywhere else, or any other time, but when I purchased mine in 2017, here in the UK, only the higher models had JBL by default.
Some interesting settings that I'd love to tweak at the bottom of that page... To answer your question though... It says "undetect" next to most of the front sensors, which means they're either not plugged in or not working.
Ah - another regional difference besides whether they've got knobs or not - base and the top iTech ($8000 dearer) had the same entertainment unit - except the iTech had Nav & DAB. What has yours got?
Mine is the highest one, called the Excel in the UK. Below that you have Business Edition Plus, Business Edition, and I forget what the base level is. Mine has JBL and the JBL orange stickers everywhere. I think it has all the extras that are inside the car. Unfortunately, that did mean I had to get the 17" wheels.
guys i removed the front bumper only, but as you can see on this pic, the rear ones are also undetected i wonder why?
This is a common symptom of wiring or sensor damage. For example, if one or more sensors shorted to ground during the impact or bumper removal, then that can cause damage to the control module. If one or more is still shorted to ground, then that can cause issues detecting the other sensors. Another thought is... During the impact did another vehicle hit the rear bumper?
does it mean i have to change control module? techstream did not show any codes about control module.
I would first check each of the sensors. Unplug them all, and plug in one of the ones that are known to be working. Check to see it's working, then plug in another, and so on.
