I have a 2015 registered prius c3 but have noticed several changes from other so called gen 3 s particularly all the videos I watch concerning transmission oil change show the fill and drain plugs on one side mine are on different sides of the transmission fill on one side drain on the opposite side is this normal how can I tell when car was actually manufactured. Thanks
some are some not but the two plugs I found are for sure covered in trans fluid I also found the maintenance reset was different
not sure about maintenance reset, but i don't think they changed the transmission at all. it may be different from the lift back though.
The vehicle manufacture data is on a placard mounted on the driver door jamb. Looks like this. If you run your VIN through the Toyota website, it will tell you exactly what car you have.
