2010 Prius. Suddenly the energy/battery monitor and the little car that shows battery to gas is not lit/black. Had 12v battery checked and it's fine. Tried holding DISP on steering wheel, nothing. Checked fuses, all fine. Any ideas? Hate the idea of taking a trip without it. Especially when air conditioning is needed.

Part of the display is projected from below. One side or the other, I forget which, but just for giggles check: if something like a business card is thrown into the display "cave", it might be blocking the projector.

That's on the left. I know because I was so alarmed when half the dash display suddenly seemed dead. A paper card had drifted to cover the projector. (Whew!)

Thank you. Well my husband is the one that checked the fuses and he said he couldn't find any problem. We have an appointment this week regarding a recall. Maybe we can get the mechanic to take a look.

No. New November 2017. Bought it at Autozone and had them check the charge and it was right where it's supposed to be
