I am a long time hybrid driver (2003 Honda Insight 8years) I recently saw a good deal on a 2017 Prius Two Eco with 11K miles. I downloaded the Dr. Prius app for iPhone and paid the $12.99 for the basic package with 3 vehicles unlimited tests. I then connected with wifi ELM 327 and run the LET Life Expectancy test. The results "Battery pack has estimated 98.50% capacity left, it is in new condition" It's a peace of mind to be able to check this most important part when buying a hybrid. I just wanted to share. I hope there was a way to check for free however, I since I plan on keeping it, it's good to have. Anyway, I hope I can use this forum to ask questions and help others. looking forward to owning it.
I've had my 2017 Prius 2 Eco since Sept '17, and I love it. If you drive carefully, and conditions are good, you can get phenomenal mileage. This morning I drove 15 miles to church on back roads, 45-55 mph, and averaged over 70 mpg for the trip.
I thought its a Two Eco but the Toyota Site says its a Three. It looks like the three models are ZVW50 ZVW51 has the sealed lithium-ion battery. How can find which model my car is? here is the VIN JTDKARFU7H3539794
Well it has a rear wiper so it's not a Two Eco. Those models did not come with a rear wiper. It looks like a Three with the no charge Safety Plus package (Intelligent Clearance Sonar, Blind Spot Monitor, Rear Cross Traffic Alert)
Congrats!! Nice looking ride. You can find out all about it if you enter the VIN at Welcome to Toyota Owners It's also where you can get PDF versions of the owners manuals. Enjoy!!
