I told him on his YouTube channel to have his “Car Wizard” try and fit a Prius C 1.5. Since we know the Gen 4 engine fits the 3, that’s the last hurdle to clear.
small bottle; I'd guess its a dry kit 50-100 hp. having seen a blown up prius engine (looked like the oil was rarely if ever changed and probably run low), the block is not by any means sturdy looking. very thin aluminum block with thin rods. a wet 50hp shot might not blow it up in 1 second, but a dry shot it probably went way lean.
Anyone who didn't see this coming has never used it or worked with it before.... a prius engine, in NO way, shape or form is designed to withstand ANY type of power adder, much less the instant hit of a single stage, non-progressive N2O system, regardless of power level. At least he didn't wreck and kill himself....
Not before the MFD starts flashing "DANGER TO MANIFOLD" and the passenger's side floorboard falls out.... Edit: added the link for people who don't get the reference.
He COULD have done it right.. progressive controller and a small wet 35 shot. Wonder what size he went with...
The Prius is up and running again from the latest video, and it would seem the transaxle survived. MG1 is tougher than I thought! (will put link up when I am next on youtube)
