Headlight identification

Purely decorative. They look like cool LEDs, but sadly they are not.

SHAME ON TOYOTA! that is like a trick. they should be ashamed.

 

But it was a huge amount of work.

I believe at least one Prius version actually does have working LEDs there. The PIP?

 

My Five has real Led eyebrows.

Here a pic of my Prius Plug In Advance. Same LED headlights as the Prius 5.

 

I thought about converting to the LED lights but it was too expensive for me. Also thought about fitting LED's into those spots. In the end I wound up doing simple strips and HID retrofit.

 

Did you place it outside or inside the headlights?

 

Its inside the light. I already had it open to put the HID projectors in, so I blacked it out and added the LED's

 

My prius III has the LED as day time running lights

 

But not in the pictured location, inside the headlight housing. Your LED DRLs are in a separate housing below the turn signal.

 

ataylor has the older model without OEM LED. His Knight Rider LED is a mod..

 

Here is my day time running light,

The 120cm led strip is white color at day time, when light off, 150cm should be better.

Just place on the top of black rubber,

Good for white car , i think
