Could someone tell me what are the five small lights that run horizontally? I have never seen them illuminated and the user manual ignores them.
But it was a huge amount of work. I believe at least one Prius version actually does have working LEDs there. The PIP?
I thought about converting to the LED lights but it was too expensive for me. Also thought about fitting LED's into those spots. In the end I wound up doing simple strips and HID retrofit.
Its inside the light. I already had it open to put the HID projectors in, so I blacked it out and added the LED's
All Prius liftback and PiP beginning with MY 2012 have LED DRLs in the turn signals, not the headlights
But not in the pictured location, inside the headlight housing. Your LED DRLs are in a separate housing below the turn signal.
