Hi folks, I was wondering: has anyone ever replaced the silly OEM horn with the more masculine horn of the Lexus CT200h ? As the two cars are mechanically alwmost twins, maybe the Lexus horn is plug-and-play compatible with the Prius 3. Thanks for your answers!
i would think any 12v horn would work. don't know if anyone has swapped the lexus. iirc, the threads i've read, people are upgrading to truck horns

Mine was apparently swapped with the CT. I didn’t do it though, it was before I bought the car. Honestly I’ve never been able to tell the difference. I’d recommend HELLA horns if you really want a loud horn.
I thought there was a huge post about upgrading the factory horn w/ some aftermarket. Swapped mine out when i got the car back in 2012. Huge sound difference. Might be cheaper now to get a used aftermarket CT horn.
