Hi there, had a mechanic do an engine swap on my 2011 Prius but is having trouble with the hybrid system after putting everything back together. Anyone else have this issue? The Hybrid battery is also new I just swapped it about 3 months ago. Is there some sort of reprogramming I have to do to so it all works together? Anything helps at this point.

Your best option is to determine the actual fault codes being provided. Post those and I'm sure there will be plenty of excellent advice provided.

I Haven't been able to go and see the car myself and I'm not even sure he got a specific code for the issue but he said the hybrid system was saying there was too much voltage coming out of the battery? Could this be a grounding issue?

@bisco he said the hybrid system wouldn't let the car operate. Turns out since the car was without power for a while I think they needed to reinstall whatever software the computer needs to control the car. Works like a charm now!

Mine did the same, unplug the 12V battery for a few minutes and restart while the car is level wither parking brake on.
