I was recently in an accident and although I was not at fault due to a lack of wording in the police report and the way the damage was between the two cars it looks like we may have to settle for shared liability. Besides the point, I wanted to know if anyone knew an estimate of how much the pictures damage might cost? My whole front bumper is gone, a headlight and it no longer reads the outside temp so I am sure a sensor is missing. If anyone has any info to give please help also i know I can take it for estimates the inspector is due to come out tomorrow but I figured it wouldn’t hurt to ask. Currently located in FL
welcome! sorry to hear it. i can see $1,500. to $2,000., but you may have hidden damage not visible in the picture, or until it is all taken apart. all the best!
That’s 1500 to 2000 in just parts. Probably 3800-4400 in total damages. Even aftermarket front headlights are 350 each insurance cost. The bumper cover is 300, the impact bar is another 300, the brackets, turn signals, and front belly pan under the front bumper, and maybe front fender liners as well.
Where in Florida are you? Tampa Hybrids is a well trusted service provider here. They may even be able to locate used parts to keep costs down.
Body Work adds up quickly. I'm thinking upwards of $5000 or more. But I'm not a professional estimator, it's only a picture, and it might depend a lot on the body shop/repair facility you are taking it to.
What’s a moving violation ticket? Never heard of it from across the pond; please clarify. I’m curious !! iPhone 6s +
Over here a moving violation is a violation while the car is moving (ie speeding, careless driving etc) as opposed to non-moving violations (ie parking ticket, no license in possession etc.)
