Looks like Erick hit another milestone just recently! Sure, it's no 600k Prius, but it's still pretty darn impressive. 141k of those 400k miles were completely on electric. Naturally, EV skeptics will say he's had to replace the battery at least 5-10 times now, with each one costing about $10-15k to swap out each time. Except he's still on the original and doesn't seem to show any signs of real wear on it. His Voltstats page, which keeps track of his miles. https://www.voltstats.net/Stats/Details/1579
Still on the original brake pads as well, something many high mileage Prius drivers are also familiar with: This Chevy Volt Has 400,000 Miles On Odometer With No Noticeable Battery Degradation
Awesome!! An impressive accomplishment. Never been able to get past 225k. Definitely would love to know your secret!! Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.

Inside sources believe a high voltage ground fault or $3 temperature sensor are to blame
477,000 miles when the motor stalled I think in the end he got moved so he didn’t have to drive very far and now may be falling on hard times.
He sold his Volt to another guy who will try to fix it and drive it so it reaches the 500k miles mark. Would be nice to see if that happens.
