Selling my prius wheel because i dont have a place to store it. Will be getting the wheels next week hopefully i was wondering if their any interest out there. The tires have tons of life left. One wheel has a michelin tire on it because one tire caught a small leak on the sidewall and wasnt repairable and i think two tires has a plug on it been great no leaks whatsoever They have around 12k it will climb until i have my wheels. Thanks. Will post pictures once i get to my prius.
Am in brooklyn new york. Ill let you know once i get the pictures up am at work right once i go on break ill snap some
I dont know how to edit this thread. Price is $550 obo i wont mind to meet a certain distance. Most likely i will have the new wheels mounted tomorrow or friday. And also the tpms will not be included it will be mounted on the new wheels.
There's 3 rims with Nokian WRG3 (an "all weather" tire, with snowflake/mountain symbol), and one with Michelin Defender (all season). I don't know that a lot of potential buyers would want that, consider selling just the rims? I'm not interested btw, have a set, just a suggestion.
And how is the tpms device removed? Pretty sure they have to put tire on the machine and break the bead, move the bead out of the way, maybe even remove the tire if they are high-level safety conscious.
Tire is not going to be seperate dont know why this has become into a thread of mixed tires seperating. Breaking the bead does not Mean paying to dismount the tire.
easy killer.....Mendel was just pointing out that having different brand tires, at different ages and some with holes/plugs can make it hard to sell as set of four. He's merely suggesting you could have other options like selling rims and tires separately. Personally, I consider $550 for a set of used rims and patched tires as pretty high end price. Especially a non-matched set. What can I say except that's just me. I'm sure there's others out there that consider it a good deal. As with everything that's for sale, it's a matter of waiting for the right buyer. I wish you good luck with your sale.
I did put “obo” which means or best offer am not expecting to get what i put down in numbers. Its a starting point
