My 2016 Prius' front bumper emblem broke&fell out. How much it cost to get another 1 and where at?

Although I would say the Toyota front end looks better, and hiding the sensor behind the emblem is part of that. I guess if they put it where Honda and VW put it we would be complaining about how ugly it is why couldn't they hide it.

Is that thing up front the protective casing where the sensor is? It looks like it's well protected but I do plan on getting the emblem eventually. Any responses about whether or not it is protected from water or other things is appreciated. I had accidentally spilled window washer fluid outside of the tube a while back and I googled to see if it would hurt my car. One of the responses on some site said every part of the car is shielded so that water wouldn't hurt anything under the hood but I just want to be certain about this.

If you need to be certain, ask Toyota! (y)

I have no idea how weatherproof it is. It's a lot closer to the emblem that the radar on my Gen 3 is. That's interesting.

hard to believe the emblem is doing anything other than masking it.

An unscrupulous dealer might, but I perhaps should have said regional, or @Prius Team even.

I'm going to take a stab, since everyone seems to be bouncing around the situation. It looks like your radar is intact, that is good if it is. You need the emblem for the radar and not an ordinary emblem, that is all you need if the radar is not damaged.

This is a very old thread - I'd assume it was resolved 8 months ago.

This is an old thread but a new problem for me. I figured my emblem was stolen.

So the price is due to the material? I've also been getting a sensor error on the dash, Anyone else experience this?

If you're talking about your 2010 PRIUS, it would be better to ask on the Gen 3 Forum.
