71,696 miles as of the last fill, having purchased new in Oct '17. Mileage has been down lately due to weather, trailer towing, and idling. (I use the trailer to remove trash at a local apartment complex. Since the hazards and lights need to be on for the job, I leave it in Ready mode to avoid a dead battery) My day job involves hot shot delivery, hence the mileage. 67.8 Lifetime average though. 2017 Toyota Prius Two Eco Gas Mileage (RC Car) - EcoModder.com
I can relate, as I put 34k on my Gen 3 in 2018, and I'm averaging 3k per month so far in 2019 on my 2016 Gen 4, Prius 4. Significant increase in mpg in my Gen 4 (was averaging 49 mpg overall, now 62+ in Gen 4). I also do daily deliveries - 5 full days and partial days on Sat-Sun.
Well, that didn't last. I just did two towing sessions cross-country, and that dropped my lifetime by 5 mpg.
What were you towing for that, type of trailer, and how much weight roughly? That's damn good mpg btw.
Last year and into early May, a small utility trailer hauling garbage for an apartment community. (on-site compactor). Mid-May, a large utility trailer with a commercial pressure washer bolted to it and weighing around 1,800 lbs from Ohio to California. This past week, a 30ft glider trailer, pic in this thread, about 1,300 lbs. Hey Toyota! I would buy a hybrid "El Camino" if only you sold one!
