That will likely not be the case. The demand for Primes is not high, and yours have the typical new car depreciation curve. They produce about 1/6 of the oil we purchase from abroad. The majority of our imports come from Canada. And overall, the majority of the oil we consume comes from domestic sources. By my math, 16% of 40% = 6.4% of our oil consumed is from OPEC.
