@ bisco 225096 miles well it goes to 'ready' you might want to go here: Gen 2 Prius Care, Maintenance and Troubleshooting | PriusChat gen 2.
welcome! where did you take it? what codes did they pull? are the ones you're showing tech stream? are there any symptoms? how many miles on her?
That’s what I am thinking dealer said battery is 1 year old. There is a date on it written in marker 1/18
It does look to me like the ECU might be the culprit, but a check of the 12V state of charge is almost always a good first step just in case. Since you're in Tampa, I'd suggest you check with Home - Tampa Hybrids Inc.. Todd really knows the Prius and if it is the ECU, he can probably fix it way cheaper than the Toyota dealer. He's my go-to guy when I need help.
250,000 miles and two different owners. I know Having a bunch of different owners can make a big difference in the mileage you get out of a car. I should Have made that more clear lol
that's a lot of miles lauren. is this a toyota dealer? make sure they guarantee the work before giving them the go ahead. a lot of times, they just throw parts at it, but don't solve the problem.
