Hi everyone! Meet MPGESUS, my 2014 Prius 3. I am a long-time Prius owner but first-time poster here. We're starting our long, exciting modification journey. This page has so much insight, I am looking forward to sharing my progress with all of you. I was inspired to post after reading through so many other posts like this. I am amazed at what the Prius and their creative owners are capable of! See, I am a car photographer out in Southern California (Instagram @autography) but have never had a car of my own to use as a subject. I'm tired of having to borrow others' cars to use in my work. So, it's time to change that! This thread will document my progress along the way and share some cool photoshoots I do with MPGESUS. My goal is to enter the Formula D car show next year. Being in Orange County, CA, I'm excited I am so close to Hybrid Pit; I can't wait to stop by and check it out. We only have 2 mods so far... an awesome "Cool Prius" sticker and some boss-level window tinting. Next up: 1. Wrapping the roof black to be continuous with the read window 2. Learning how to strip and patch most of the badges 3. Paint the main Toyota badges black w/ carbon fiber Cheers to the future! From a recent trip to Joshua Tree:
Some creature comforts have been put in while I wait for my first wrap appointment. Cup holder and tray insert from HybridPit. Fits like a glove and is an attractive piece. But, I will say the width of the cupholders is awfully tiny. Anything larger than a RedBull can or small plastic water bottle will have a very hard time fitting. All-weather front and back floor mats. I didn't intend on it, but I found these guys at Costco. MPGESUS goes to the beach and desert often, so I couldn't resist how thick and durable these were. (Sorry for no full interior pics. My car was full of gear that day and slightly messy.)
