Is there a good, inexpensive Roof Rack system?

    I just picked up a 2011 Prius and need to get racks to haul a kayak (occasionally 2) and I'm amazed at how expensive the good ones are. Is there an inexpensive option (under $150) that anyone can recommend?

    I reccomend combing your local craigslist/offer up. I just found a Thule Aero Blade rack for 100. Deals are out there, you'll have to ba a little patient to find the right one.

    I agree with this one. I picked up an Thule Aeroblade setup for 250, barely used.

    I agree with James Powers and rover1893. I picked up my SportRack Roof rack system at a local thrift shop for about $25 (I've actually had this for years and on different vehicles) and I found a rooftop SportRack cargo box on Kijiji.ca for $80 and they both do the job. Better off looking at Facebook Market place and maybe you might be able to get a deal on one there.

    Just picked up a used yakima rack. Glad I waited.
