Page 234 of user guide. I've enabled/disabled these pop-ups settings and I don't see any different behaviors! Has anyone experimented with these? Especially with these 2... Multimedia Menu, Instrument Panel Light? I have no clue what they do!
I have them all turned off and they still pop up. Next to the capacitive buttons around the 11.6" display that activate with accidental touches, that's the biggest annoyance with this otherwise fantastic car.
No but I can figure all except multimedia out. (Multimedia might have something to do with changing channels on the radio). The instrument panel light pop up is the screen that shows you the brightness level as you’re adjusting the panel lighting using the switches to the left of the steering wheel. If it’s off, then the panel will brighten or darken but you won’t see a brightness scale on the 4.2” MID.
For climate: when you change temps or open/close the vents or adjust the S-Flow setting, it’ll show up on the MID. CC Operation: it toggles the “how to use CC” HUD: when you enable the HUD, a pop up screen will allow you to adjust the brightness and height. Driving mode select: it’ll show you an animation as you cycle through Eco, normal and Power Traction battery cooler: allows the car to ask if it can run the A/C during charging.
I played around with the radio today and the multimedia pop up didn't come up. I'm not sure what that is now....
