I am interested in buying a wheel that is 15x6j 38offset. Would this work on the 3rd gen prius which are 15x6.5j 45 offset. I have attached picture of the stamp that is on back of the wheel i want to buy.

the numbers look fine. just make sure its 5x100 and you probably have to get a centric ring adapter. However, just from looking at the 2nd pic, the base of the bolts and the blade spokes look very shallow. You might need to get spacers in order to clear the calipers from hitting. I have to always put 3mm spacers when I use my FRS wheel set in the winter.

Post a clear picture (or type) the brand and name of the rim.

Or just go to tirerack, enter your car details, say you're shopping rims. See if that rim comes up. If not, start again without entering your car details, see if they've got that rim. If so, likely not compatible.

I tried it on and it clears the caliper. Just need a suggestion on the lug nuts.
