Hello, Thinking of selling or swapping my 17in trim 5 wheels with 215/45r17 firestone champion fuel fighter tires. Tires have 10k mi on them, one rim has a curb rash spot, otherwise excellent. 60k on the rims. I will consider swapping em for stock 15in or 16in with tires + cash until I decide which aftermarket wheels to buy. So let's set the price at $1500, pick up in Miami area, no shipping.
I hate to break it to you, but I don't think those are worth that much on the secondary market. And your lack of shipping greatly reduces the market as well. GLWS iPhone ?
New through McGeorge, the 3rd gen 17" rim (not the darker Persona version) is $322 USD: Wheel, Alloy - Toyota (42611-47201) | Toyota Parts Maybe post some pics. (Just a tip: Classic Silver Metallic touch-up paint (1F7) is a perfect match.)
I know, but you can normally find a set of OEM 17's used for 4-500 and a set of tires new for 4-500 or used tires about half that iPhone ?
Yeah I didn't come across clearly, was trying to say, for $1500 you can buy new, and get change, lol.
Lol, I understand now. My Dronells were only 500 for the set thanks to a great member on here iPhone ?
$1,289.76 set of rims from McGeorge Toyota (without shipping) $595.96 set of Firestone tires from tirerack $1885.72 + install/balance hassle. Just saying.
Yeah, but that's for new. Yours are used. $800-$1000 is more in line with their condition. Just saying. iPhone ?
That's the number that came to mind earlier, for me: $150*x4=$600 for the rims $50x4=$200 for the tires (and that's generous, for a lot of potential buyers, tires are not of interest) About 2 years back I purchased 4 Plug-In Prius 15" rims here, around $400, minor road rash on one or two. Stock 15" Prius rims, the ones that are under plastic covers, are anywhere between $50 and $80 apiece, and hard to move at that price. The 3rd gen Prius 17" rims are more sought after, accordingly around $150 apiece. The Persona 17" rims are a little less, due to color I guess.
My neighbor had a set of these with 5k miles on the tires for sale on the FB market place for 4 months, they finally sold and he only got 750 for them. I’m surprised it took so long the rims were perfect.
I'd swap you my 15" OEM black wheels w/ tires for yours. Mine are in good condition and only have prying marks on them from the dealer removing the hubcaps every time they rotated them. NO curb rash however. Do you have a picture of the one with the rash? I'm relatively close to you by the way - WPB.
