Gen3 Reverse Beep settings/Techstream

    Can I use Techstream to reset a Gen3 reverse beep to single beep? I gather the Gen3 reverse beep cannot be easily disabled. For a friend.

    If you have an app like 'Dr Prius' and a Prius compliant OBD2 (dual board), you can actually very easily disable the reverse beep with a single checkbox in the app.
    Or, if you don't have an OBD2 that works with that app (or another app like TorquePro), there is a button/pedal sequence that can be followed to disable the beep entirely (sorry, can't be modified to a single beep with this sequence).

    Yes, Techstream can do that. So can Carista and a few other OBDII phone apps. But if you already have TS, that's the free way to get it done.

    The button sequence is Gen2, right?

    What Techstream version do you have?

    My 10.30.028 version was able to reset mine and several other Gen3’s in the past:).
