Are the radar devices installed already? Just need to turn them on or plug them in? Change the mirrors? Has only attempted to do this?
Actually it does not need those. Uses two sensors mounted in the rear quarter panels. Which is VERY doable. I got that information from this thread which sparked the idea: Prime Features Explained | PriusChat
That is a great question, I wonder if some after market add on is available. Its such a nice feature, too bad its not on the Prime Premium , should be on all cars.

Doable? yes. Worth the $$? depends P.S. People who say proper adjusted mirrors completely eliminate blind spots are annoying.
They don't, but a lot of people have their side mirrors adjusted to show them the same area as their rear one.
... and there's plenty of folks who have headlights missaligned or use them improperly. Should we not discuss xenons/led/laser upgrades?
we have bsm on our hycam. when it stopped working, we stopped using it for months. when we finally took it in, it was a full day at the dealer for warranty repair. when we got it back, we had forgotton how annoying it can be and shut it off. i hope they've improved it.
Meh, someone will post those leds are devil lights and people just need to be taught to use proper candles in their carriages and whatnot.
