I think Toyota sent them a TRD version with a 2.5L hybrid and Push to Pass enabled the whole time.

Only time I did Figure Eight was when I drove to Cap Cod for the first time, and made a wrong exit on a rotary. But I wasn't driving Prius then. NOT THE QUICKEST TURNS.:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

They tested a Prius Limited. Is there such a model?

I did a Google search and found that Limited is the top of the line of the regular Prius. Looks like it has the same features as the Advanced version of the Prime. I have a Limited 4Runner, so I wonder if it has the same fake plastic wood all over the dash.

First, this isn't really a Prime article, so it doesn't belong in this section.

That said: half the cars on the list are SUVs, so of course they're horrendously slow in any kind of curve. The real surprise here is the 124 Spider and the Mazda6 (since its noted for its handling). The Velar (Dynamic!) performance is simply laughable.

Maybe a DRS button too (guess which hybrid actually has one!).

It's not a bad car - in my opinion, it drove better than the F-pace loaner we had (but that's an SUV, so being kinda bad is to be expected). We briefly considered getting one but came to the conclusion that it wasn't quite enough car given the pricing. I personally prefer the V60 Polestar, but they're noticeably smaller.

Toyota changed up the trim level nomenclature for 2019. Instead of Prius One to Four, it's labelled L Eco, LE, XLE and Limited.

That's my point the Prius looks better than any other current Toyota or Lexus.
You called it ugly so I thought you liked the black open mouth look of the others.

Also, it gives a bit more credit to my review. Yes it’s not the same car (the Limited they tested had 215/45R17 tires on 17” alloy wheels while the Prime is on 195/65R15 tires on 15” alloys abs is more softly sprung) but the chassis is the same.

In a wild and crazy moment 2 years ago, never having driven a Prius and hardly even sat in one, I ordered a Prime sight unseen. Smitten by the love it/hate it design I was clearly in the love it camp in large part due to the front end lines. That and the ability to leverage very efficient electrons with an efficient gasoline engine (of which I underestimated the benefits). Throw in a beltless ECVT and I was willing to wait months for delivery. What I never anticipated was how much fun this car would be to drive. Corners well, holds straight and responds nicely. To that point the Motor Trend article is interesting data that I guess is not a huge surprise. Thanks for posting the links. Two years later and I still smile when I get to drive this car. Sure, it's not perfect but driving by all those gas stations is pretty nice too.
