Next day a headlight went out . . . I own a 2012 Prius C. It seems to burn out headlights and marker lights frequent. Since 95,000 miles it seems headlights last only a month. Right now I have a headlight out but I don't want to replace it to I figure out why it is happening. Is it an electrical issue? Currently it has 100,222 miles. If there is a thread for this already please let me know. Thank you!
Check to see if yours is subject to the headlight wiring recall. Ours was constantly going thru right side (iirc) headlight bulbs and marker lights. The recall has seemingly cured the headlight issue but the marker lights remain a problem. Now celebrate the 100,000 mile anniversary with a warm bath for the EGR cooler.
I assume that it is normal that such problems appear over time. I think in family cars parts always wear faster.
