I got in my Prime (Advanced) today and was greeted with a PopUp on the Infotainment Screen that a "Mandatory Update" was available. I downloaded and installed it but blew by option to display what was changed. Sorry. The update went without incident. I don't notice any changes but haven't looked extensively either. The whole process took about two minutes to download, install and reboot. J
I'll try to remember to document the changes when I do mine. I delayed mine this morning because I didn't know how long it would take. Now that I know it won't take long, I'll probably do it tonight or in the morning. Not that I ever use Entune. Without the neat charging stuff you Advanced owners get, it has absolutely nothing that's useful to me.
I have never used Entune in the car, and do not have the app installed on my phone. I don't have Advanced trim so absolutely no use for the app. I wonder what happens if I never do the Mandatory Update?
I did some searching on the Interweb and only found a mention to MovieTickets going away May 15, 2019. Nothing about today’s update specifically. There was a button during the update process to display details but I skipped it as I was driving the car at the time. The update was minimally distractive. I think 3 buttons.
I have never seen those update screen on my car's 11.6" screen, although I have the screen off most of the time. When and where does it show up? EDIT: I saw @ronus20 photo above. So it does show up on the 11.6" screen. Humm, let me check this out in my car. Will be right back
I did the update. Didn't see anything that hasn't already been shown here. I then looked at the charging station app when I got home. After about 30 seconds of that, the screen rebooted. Entune sure sucks. I hope it doesn't start rebooting when I'm not using Entune. It's the first time that's happened to me and it the first time I used Entune.
OK, I checked it out in my car. I go Menu and touch App Suite. I got this screen info. Since I never installed Entune on my smartphone there is no Mandatory Update for me. I hit the "Do Not Tell Me Again" and turned off the screen. I will probably never see that screen info again. THE END
Same scoop with me, FWIW: No signs of concerns, loaded pretty quickly, not obvious what changed. “Mostly harmless”

I see the announcement on the screen, but every time I tell it to 'update now' it fails the download. I'm glad it's not anything really important...
