Anybody else on the waiting list in Seattle? I've been on for 5 weeks. I'm guessing I could have another 5 weeks (or more?) But, the wait is killing me! Does the downtown Toyota give updates on your order status? Or do you just have to wait to hear from them?
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(Festus @ Aug 25 2006, 10:58 AM) </div> I just bought one from my Uncle's dealership in Pullman. Much easier than waiting.
We got ours in the end of June from Toyota of Seattle. Desmond was our sales person. I called him quite a bit and hasseled him, he was pretty helpful. We were not very specific with what we wanted, just side impact airbags, so we might have gotten ours quicker than most.
Why wait? Many outlying dealers can get you a car in days. Try Moses Lake they have a good reputation around here.
hmmm might not be so bad for ya. i ordered mine from Toyota of Olympia (my 2nd Prius, 7th Toyota from my immediate family i think) on August 18th. took delivery of a Silver Pine Mica pkg 4 yesterday. total time, 18 days. now, not saying return business gets preference or anything. my car was slated for someone else who could not take delivery. soooo, the first person they went to was...well, considering that i beat the sept 30th deadline, im not complaining. the fact that it was first choice on package and color just makes it that much easier. obtw, the stats below are for my 2004. current stats...132 miles @52.5 mpg
