So I was in an accident about 2 weeks ago. Totally my fault, but there was no other vehicles involved. It was my 2006 and the yellow plastic barriers on the side of the road. As much as I liked my prius, I decided to go for a non-hybrid for the time being. Now my prius is sitting in the back of the house, and I really do not know how to proceed. I want to sell the hybrid battery by itself. It is a rebuilt battery from Home Town hybrids that was installed 04/18, with a 24 month/50,000 mile warranty. The warranty does not transfer, but I believe it is a really good battery. The 11,000 miles I have put in since the battery installation have been trouble free, and I was averaging about 39 mpg in the winter. I also want to sell the brand new 12V Duracell battery I put in last year. I don't know the state of the engine or transmission though. I would really like to take the car apart, but I don't have the room to do that. I will eventually scrap it, but if you live in the Plano, Allen, Mckinney area of Texas, let me know if you need any parts. P.S: Any interested party will have to take the parts out themselves.
